At Smith's Crossing Rural Water Association Inc., we are committed to providing safe, high quality water services to our community, while maintaining a standard of excellence in customer service and environmental conservation.

New Online & Phone Payment System

We are pleased to announce the implementation of Nexbillpay, a secure and convenient electronic payment platform fully integrated with our billing system. This new service provides customers with flexible, 24/7 access to manage and pay their water bills.

With Nexbillpay, customers can:

  • View billing and payment history

  • Make one-time or recurring Auto-Pay payments

  • Pay online, by mobile device, in office, or by phone (24/7)

  • Receive email or text payment reminders

  • Enroll in paperless billing

  • Use Text-to-Pay for fast, easy payments

Payment Processing Fees
Please note that payment processing fees are now the same for online, phone, and in-office card payments:

  • $0.01 – $200.00 → $2.50 fee

  • Over $200.00 → 2.75% fee

Billing & Cut-Off Policy Update

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

Due Date
• All bills are due by the 15th of each month

Late Fee
• On the 16th, a 10% late charge will be applied to unpaid balances

 Delinquent Status
• On the 20th, unpaid accounts will be placed in delinquent status, incur a $60 delinquency fee, and are subject to service lock/disconnection.

Service Restoration
• All balances and fees must be paid in full before service is restored
• Service will be restored by the next business day after payment

Policy Update
• The previous “two-month past due delinquency” rule is no longer in effect as of July 1, 2026
